Fall/winter wardrobe essentials

In the last couple of days i have had more page views than i had altogether since i created this blog. i want to use this medium to welcome new readers and those who have been following my IG, facebook and twitter page with keen interest. i really appreciate your interest and i can only tell you that i would do my best to keep you posted on more interesting and fun ideas that i hope you would love.

This week i will be sharing with us essential items we need for the rest of this season (fall) and next (winter). its been cold and we know it will only get colder as winter approaches but most of all, we need to be prepared. I have shared tips about coats, jackets and sweaters in our previous blogs so i will only be writing about the rest of the items on the list below:

Plus the exclusive Impromptu party wardrobe

1. Coat/Jackets: these are more than just an outer wear to keep us warm, they are also a good tool for accessorizing and giving our appearance the pop we desire.

2. Turtle neck sweaters (top or dress): as closed up as turtle necks are, thry are still the most sexy and curve accentuating piece of warm up ever.

3. Low heel boots (wide calf, knee length boot or ankle boots)

4. Hats: From the knits to the woolen, hats are a good way to keep your scalps warm and protect your hair from frizzling out in the cold.

5. Hand mittens/gloves apart from being a good way to accessorize it keeps the hand warm and protects against frost bites.

6. Leather slim pants (not just regular denim): leather pants have been know. To keep you extra warm even better than denims and they protect your skin from drying up.

7. Opaque tights are also good for protecting your skin from drying up and a bit of warm up. Better than bare skin right!

8. Scarves are also Good way of popping up your appearance with a little bit of color. In addition to it being a good way to keep your neck warm it also makes you look classy and beautiful. I always advise acceasorizing with a scarf that has a contrasting color to your attire. There are several scarves ranging from woolen, cotton to knits and in several arrays of patterns and colors.

Now to our imprimptu party wear: You should consider taking two seperates dresses with you for those of us traveling home for the holidays and for those who wont be traveling enaure you have this two dresses close by just in case you receive a last minitr invite a party that is hard to miss!

1. For an afternoon party or a Family&Friends thanksgiving dinner; Your choice between:

i.  Shift dress

ii. Ribbed fitted dress

2. For an evening party; your choice between:

i.  A velvet dress

ii. A shimmer/glitter dress

iii. A sequin dress

There are of course several styles and designs to choose from but i have narrowed my choices to the above because they are styles you can't but slay.
Believe me sweethearts, You just can't be wrong!!
